Received a text pretending to be from PayPal saying “your verification code is” followed by a string of numbers. The message warned if I didn’t ask for the code, I should quickly go to some weird link __https:/paypal-resolutions 158[###]. Definitely a scam, don’t click anything from that number!

Got a weird message claiming to be from PayPal with a security code 732950, saying it’s only good for 5 mins. It looked really dodgy, like a virus or scam, so obviously I didn’t press any links. The text warned not to share the code and if I hadn’t asked for it, to check out some sketchy link with weird symbols like i#]paypal-resolutions 158(###). Felt off to me so I just ignored it.

Just received a text sayin "paypal: your security code is: .. it’ll expire in 5 mins. don’t give this code to anyone. if you didn’t ask for this code, go straight to: [#]paypal-resolutions158[####]." Seems like a scam to me. I didn’t click any link or open the site.

Got a text out of the blue with a security code supposedly from PayPal. Never requested anything though. The message told me to go to ‘paypal-resolutions[###]’, but that site isn’t real as far as I can tell. Looks like a phishing scam to me.

Got a message from this number just after midnight, said it was a PayPal code but I never asked for one. The text had a link that mentioned something like "PayPal resolutions 160". Tried searching online but couldn’t find anything about it, so I’m steering clear of that link - smells like a phishing attempt to me.
