some bloke called Jack Spencer, ref HM56224 rang me up saying there was a warrent for my arrest over tax evasion linked to my old place in suffolk. apparently my tax code had changed to 6331H and they said if I didn’t pay £3200 or set up a payment plan I’d be nicked for 15 days. He then passed me onto this supervisor fella Dennis Gray. I ended up searching online and found out it was a scam.

Just like loads of people have said before, I got a recorded call from a number claiming to be HMRC, warning me about prosecution. Bit odd it came from a mobile, right? They were asking me to phone them back. Definitely a scam. I’ve blocked the number straight away.
