Without a doubt a scam. The caller said they were from Visa or Mastercard and mentioned a big charge on my credit card, which was actually from something I bought about six weeks ago from abroad. It was one of those automated recorded calls telling me to press 1 to talk to someone. I ended the call and rang my bank straight away. They confirmed there was no issue with any payment and said they’d never ask me to enter any details on the phone like that. They always send an actual rep to call. I’ve blocked the number and reported it.
