Got a call from someone saying they were Mark Wilson, a BT tech. They told me my broadband had been hacked and they needed to get into my computer right away to stop it. The way they spoke was really pushy and rude. When I asked if it was legit, they handed me over to a ‘manager’ called Emanuel, who was just as harsh. He even threatened to cut off my BT connection if I didn’t let them sort it immediately. Definitely felt like a scam.
