My missus picked up the phone and there was just silence on the other end, but you could hear loads of Indian accents chatting away in the background like some call centre or something. Earlier on, I took a call from a woman saying she was from BT, mentioning my internet. I told her straight it was a con and hung up. Weirdly, I keep getting these sorts of calls regularly even though my number's ex-directory. A few mates and neighbours tell me they’re getting swamped with these annoying calls too, so it’s definitely a widespread thing.
