Received a call from someone purporting to be from Apple, saying they needed to freeze my Apple Pay account due to some odd activity. The funny thing is, I don’t even have an account with Apple Pay! Clearly a scam!

I just got a message from this number purporting to be Apple, alerting me to some 'suspicious activity' on my account and advising me to click a link to lift a freeze on my card. Honestly, it's quite laughable; I don't even own an Apple device or have an account with them! Plus, we all know that Apple wouldn’t have the authority to freeze your bank cards anyway. It’s alarming how many people might actually fall for such nonsense. Glad I’m savvy to these tactics, but I do hope others steer clear of this scam!
