On a Bank Holiday, I got a call from 07897 624258. It was a voicemail claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, saying I was going to be taken to court over my taxes and asking me to call a number back. If HMRC had any real issues with me about tax, surely they would have sent letters first before threatening court. I didn’t reply and hung up straight away.
