Some bloke called himself Ron and claimed he was ringing from Amazon, offering me a Gift Card. I told him straight up I didn’t believe his name was Ron or that he was really with Amazon. When he tried to argue, I pointed out Amazon don’t call people out of the blue, and he hung up on me. I wonder if the Police are actually tracking these scammers since the numbers get reported all the time. The phone companies should really step in and block these dodgy numbers to stop them ringing folks.

Got two calls from this same number claiming I had a £49.99 gift card with Amazon. One call was from someone who sounded American, the other had a Middle Eastern accent. I looked at my Amazon account and everything seems normal. Honestly, these calls are so annoying now. Worried they might trick someone who isn’t expecting it.
