Got a text late last night at about 11.40 from 07496697217, with a message saying "Mum, can you text me on this new number, my phone's broken x". It was obviously dodgy so I just blocked them straight away. Definitely a scam!

Got a recorded call saying something like, "You’re with the financial ombudsman’s office, we’ve noticed some weird stuff..." So obviously I just ended the call straight away. Total scam no doubt about it!

i've been getting calls from the same number like 6 times daily for ages now, and it's properly messing with me. you'd think after ringing me over 50 times i'd get the hint and stop being bothered, but nope, they just keep at it all hours. honestly, it’s driving me mad...

I usually dont pick up when I dont know the number but this one has rung me six times over a few days. I sent a message telling them to leave a voicemail if it was urgent, but nothing. So in the end, I just blocked the number.
