After hearing a load of swearing, I just hung up straight away.

Beware, everyone! I’ve come across a total scam where individuals are posing as representatives of the charity Make a Smile. They are most definitely NOT affiliated with us. As the actual founder of Make a Smile, I can assure you that these impostors are trying to deceive people. We’re actively working to halt their activities, but until we can put an end to this nonsense, I urge you all to stay vigilant and avoid answering their calls.
