I received some rather unsettling threats directed at my family after I expressed my lack of interest.

I received a peculiar message regarding a banking transaction that left me scratching my head. Just after I had been managing my online banking, I got this text that seemed all jumbled. I'm really beginning to think it might be a scam. I've removed any sensitive information, but the message went something like this: "This is The Co-operative Bank. You requested a payment of £… to … However, we have some concerns regarding fraudulent activity, and we need you to confirm if this is legitimate and if you wish to proceed with the payment. Please respond with 'yes' to authorise the transfer; otherwise, reply 'no'. IMPORTANT: DO NOT respond with 'yes' if someone else has instructed you to do so - it could be a scam!" It just seemed off to me!

I've been receiving some peculiar phone calls lately, resembling a call centre atmosphere in the background. It’s odd, as there's no conversation to be had. I suspect it could be a scammer-stay vigilant!

Received three calls from this number to my mobile, and each time I picked up, they hung up instantly, only to ring back straight away like some sort of automated nuisance. I've now added them to my block list.
