This bloke with a proper English accent kept demanding I say my name before telling me who he was, which I just wouldn’t do. I hung up pretty sharpish. Later, I looked it up on Who Called Me and it looks like some sort of property buying firm - probably because I’ve got my house listed for sale.

They somehow knew my full name, even the middle one I hardly ever mention, and my mobile number. Then out of nowhere they asked if I was interested in selling my house and wanted to discuss a price. Weird question, honestly. I simply said no and the call ended. The person was really polite, spoke slowly and with clear English. All they got was a confirmation of my identity, my phone number, and that I own a house. My house isn’t up for sale or listed anywhere, though I have actually been browsing properties recently.
