So I received this call claiming to be some sort of fraud alert. A recorded voice told me someone was trying to make two international payments using my Visa, and to press 1 to stop them. Foolishly, I hit 1 straight away, and then got put through to a live person - but the call just dropped. It only then dawned on me that legit fraud departments wouldn’t ring from a hidden mobile number, right?
