Got a call from someone saying they were from the council housing repairs. I told him straight up if he was legit, he’d already know I actually own my place. He quickly got all defensive and ended the call abruptly. Just another scammer having a go, trying to catch people out.

Some bloke called, said he was from Carphone Warehouse, but his voice was proper harsh and sketchy. Made me not want to trust what he was saying at all.
