The person on the phone actually knew my name and launched into a chat about some supposed 'investments', sounded like they had an Indian or Pakistani accent. I told them I’d be reporting the call, then blocked the number straight away. Got me thinking if it could be linked to that M&S data breach or maybe the Internet Archive hack where loads of numbers and info were pinched. If you've signed up on those sites, definitely switch your passwords and have a look on 'Have I Been Pwned'. I only picked up because I was expecting a call from my doctor, and they usually don’t ring from a mobile.
