I got a text from this number claiming to be Canopy, the rent tracking app, saying my bank details were cut off and I needed to fix it through a link they sent. Normally, I’d expect something like that in an email, not a text, so I went straight to the official Canopy site instead of clicking the link. It turned out my bank info was fine and that link was likely some kind of fraud. Just a heads up - these scammers are getting seriously clever nowadays.
