Got a call from someone trying to sell AIG life insurance, and then they asked me for my bank info. Seemed a bit off to me.

Someone rang me up and knew stuff like my birthday and where I live. They said they were from Vodafone and were pushing a huge Black Friday deal better than my current mobile provider. I nearly gave them my bank info to switch, but something felt off so I asked them to call me back later. I looked the number up online and found loads of bad feedback about it. Just a heads up, always double check before handing over any sensitive or bank details.

Warning about a scam: I got a call from someone pushing Bitcoin investments, but it was obvious they wanted to grab my bank details. Once I said it was a scam, they started ringing me from loads of different numbers, just to bother and harass me. Seriously, stay away from these people!
