My phone marked this as "possible spam" and automatically sent it straight to voicemail. When I checked the message, it was just strange static noise. The call happened during a bank holiday, so I reckon it's some scammer from abroad not aware of our holidays. I've gone ahead and blocked the number.

I have my phone set to mute any calls from numbers I don't recognise and let them go straight to voicemail. Legit people usually leave a message, but scammers never seem to bother. This one didn’t leave anything at all. So now, I just block anyone like that, figure they’re probably up to no good.
