This was a total scam. When I picked up, the first thing I heard was a robotic voice claiming to be from His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs. Definitely one of those prerecorded calls trying to trick you.

Got a call from a guy in India who somehow knew my first name and tried to chat about stocks and stuff. Felt a bit dodgy to me, so I just hung up and blocked the number right away.
