Received a call from a telemarketer trying to push some overpriced loft insulation, claiming it was a cutting-edge product from Canada. He went on about how it outperformed fibreglass, but how on earth did he even know we had that? Apparently, the government energy database linked to my phone number tells all. He promised to send someone round to slash my energy bills by a whopping 35%. Sounds like utter nonsense to me! If you ask me, these folks are just after an easy target, aiming to take advantage of the unsuspecting and vulnerable. Buyer beware!
