They called me about lowering electricity bills, but I’m just a tenant, so it’s not relevant to me. Plus, I’m registered on the Do Not Call list, so they really shouldn’t be ringing me at all.

On the 18th of January 2022, I got a call saying there had been some dodgy stuff going on near the north of Wales and they wanted me to speak to the official investigating officer. They said I had to press 1 to get through to the right department or else legal action could be taken against me and my NI number. That exact same call came from the number 07897 101433 on the 20th of December too.

On the 18th of January, 2022, I got a rather alarming call: "We've been alerted to some fraudulent and dubious activities taking place along the northern border of Wales. To gather further information and speak with the investigating legal officer, kindly press 1, and we will route you to the relevant department before any legal proceedings are initiated against you or your national insurance number. Press 1 to be connected." Interestingly, I had a similar call from 07897 101433 back on the 20th of December. It seems like there's a batch of these numbers coming through EE.
