I used to have this number but had to switch it out recently because lots of random people kept ringing me after seeing missed calls from it - which I never actually made. After a while, it became clear that scammers were using my old number to trick others, going on and off for several months. In the end, I had no choice but to get a new number. Definitely a scam in action.

I got a call from someone saying they were HMRC, telling me I had to pay for tax evasion. When I asked for more info, they just ended the call straight away. It really seemed like a dodgy scam to me.
