I got a call out of nowhere from someone saying there was a purchase for £699 made on my account, and they asked if it was me. I told them it wasn’t, and then they said I should check my Amazon texts and reset my account with a special code. I didn’t feel comfortable doing that and refused. Then they just hung up on me. Later on, I tried to sign into my Amazon, but it asked for another code and told me to wait a moment. I didn’t proceed any further and just logged out. Not sure if it was legit or a scam, so I haven’t entered any codes or anything.
