Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon, telling me to press 1 if I hadn’t purchased an iPhone 13 Max. The bloke on the phone first sounded Indian, then suddenly switched to an Aussie accent. He then had the cheek to ask for my Amazon login details and password!! I told him straight up I didn’t buy it and doubted he was really from Amazon. He insisted he was, threatening my account would be charged in a couple of hours if I didn’t cooperate. Total rubbish, don’t fall for it!

Got a recorded call telling me £900 was going to be charged to my Visa. It said to press one if it wasn’t me. I just ended the call since I don’t own a credit card at all.

Got a voicemail claiming to be from Amazon saying there’s some weird activity on my account, telling me to ring a number. Telefonica, isn’t it about time you blocked that number with all the dodgy calls?

BT Call Guardian didnt pick this up, so im guessing its either a scam or one of those annoying call centres. Ive blocked the number anyway.

I got a missed call on my home phone, but when I rang back, the number didn’t seem to be valid anymore. Given how many calls I’ve had lately, I’m guessing it’s one of those VISA or Amazon scams doing the rounds again. Really annoying how often they’re trying!
