07897933012, 07897935062 kept ringing me up claiming to be from NATIONWIDE BUILDING SOCIETY. The woman on the line asked me to confirm my postcode but I told her I was in a meeting and asked for a callback number. She just ended the call! I got a few calls like this saying it was Nationwide. When I contacted Nationwide themselves, they said they had no idea about any of this. TOTAL SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Please don't share any personal info with these people.

I've had quite a few calls from this annoying bloke, sounds like he's Indian. He always asks for my name and when I ask who he is, he claims he's from Nationwide. A few days ago, when he told me that, I said straight up 'No you're not', and he just shouted 'Watch your mouth' and hung up. Before that, he told me he was from the government, or that he was my dad, or even my mum. What a nasty person. I've reported him to BT, my mobile provider and the cops, but they couldn't care less. Seems these companies make bank from scammers like him, so they have no interest in sorting it out.

For years now, I keep getting calls from this number and some others, all asking for someone called Nicky Smith - which isn't me at all. I've had my phone number for close to 16 years. Every time I tell them it's a wrong number, they say they'll update their records or something, but the calls just don't stop. It's really getting annoying.

The voice sounded like an Indian guy, but there were loads of others talking in the background, which made it hard for her to catch what he was saying. The call didn’t last long before they hung up. Judging by how many people have replied about this number just today, it seems like they’ve been pretty active.

Got a call from an Asian guy on my phone but couldn’t catch what he was saying, so I told him I couldn’t hear properly. Then the cheeky bloke goes “oh my god you’re dead” and just hangs up on me. Yesterday I got a call on my mobile from a bloke who sounded Indian, asking me to verify my name and postcode. I refused to give him any info and kept asking who he was and where he’d got my number from. He started getting really annoyed that I wouldn’t play along, then ended up shouting “f##k you” before hanging up. Today, I received a call from this number, and the chap on the line was inquiring about someone named Pamela. I was rather curious, so I pressed him for details, but just when I thought we might have a conversation, he abruptly hung up on me. He had quite a strong Indian accent, very pronounced, if I do say so. When he asked me “who is that?” I shot back with “who do you think you are? You’re the one who called me!” At that point, he decided to end the call. What an absolute farce! Such a pointless use of my time!

Got two missed calls from this number on a Saturday and one about 8.30 Monday morning. I picked up eventually because I’m waiting on some news about a mate. There was an Indian lady, sounded like she was in a car, and she knew my name and postcode. I asked where she got my number from, and she said Nationwide. He reckoned it was my fault for picking up the phone and started threatening me when I said I’d report him to the cops for harassment. Had to block the number.
