Got a call from a polite bloke with a strong Indian accent who said his name was John Miller - bit odd given how thick his accent was. He went straight into the usual spiel about me having a PPI refund from my bank. I threw a few questions at him about the PPI stuff and asked where he was calling from. He said “Manchester City,” but I wasn’t convinced. When I asked if he was actually in Lahore, he denied it quite quickly. Then he asked for my name, so I said Rajinda, and told him I knew he was really calling from Delhi. He hung up right after that.
