Got called by someone claiming to be from HMRC, threatening me with court. They asked me to press 1 to talk to an officer. I did, and some bloke with an Asian accent picked up. He said, “Good morning, this is HMRC legal department, how may I assist?” I just told him to “go jump in a lake, mate”. Then it went dead quiet. Don’t bother wasting your time on these muppets. Just mess about for a bit and then hang up. Screw ’em.
