I got a call from some dodgy prerecorded voice with a posh accent saying my National Insurance number was at risk and was gonna be 'cancelled'. They said to "Press 1 to stop it". Just for a giggle I pressed 1. It connected me to a bloke with an Indian accent, and when I asked if this scam thing ever actually worked for him, he just cut me off straight away.
