Someone rang me pretending to be from BT, saying my internet was slow because of some foreign activity. Sounded like they were just following a script. Since my broadband isn’t through BT directly, I said I couldn’t chat with them and that I’d have to contact my actual internet provider. I thanked them for the heads-up and told them I’d get in touch with my provider right away. Then, they just ended the call straight away!!
