I got like 6 calls last night, all from around 10:30pm till about 4 in the morning. Didn’t pick up cause my phone was on do not disturb, but I’m pretty sure it was either spam or some kind of nuisance caller.

Someone called saying there was a £500 charge on my Visa and asked if I could confirm it. I don’t even own a Visa card, so I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. I’ve blocked the number now.

I had an intriguing encounter with a caller who seemed to know my first name, insisting that I possessed a blockchain account with them. Trust me, I was adamant that I had no such thing. Fortunately, I decided to look up the number online and stumbled upon this site. So, I'm posting this as a heads-up for anyone else who might be in a similar predicament. When the pressure was on, I fabricated a rather embarrassing case of the runs, and just like that, they hung up! Give it a go; you might find it works wonders!

Got a call out the blue claiming I’ve got £58,000 sitting in some blockchain account. Then they asked if I wanted to pull the money out, leave it there, or shut the account down. Thing is, I don’t even have a blockchain account and if I did, there’s no way I’d just forget about it lol.

Had a go at calling, but I just sent it straight to voicemail since I didn’t recognise the number. Seems like they’re still at it with the scamming attempts!

Received a call on my landline from someone who addressed me by an entirely wrong surname. When I explained that I wasn't the individual they sought, they claimed I had a Bitcoin account linked to my home number. I requested that they send some sort of verification in the post before continuing the conversation, and just like that, they hung up. Clearly, a bunch of SCAMMERS!

Got a call from someone saying they worked for Blockchain and that I supposedly had an account with 3 bitcoins valued at £58,000. They said the account got frozen because I hadn’t used it, but if I paid a small fee of £580, which was just 1%, I could unlock the funds. When I started chuckling, the caller got all serious and asked why I was laughing. Pretty obvious scam to me! 😂

It’s really upsetting how these scams keep targeting the most vulnerable people. I came across the post 8 below this one and it really made me stop and think. If folks don’t report these scam calls, they just keep multiplying, and honestly, it gets so frustrating for everyone. We need to be more aware and try to stop them.

Beware, these individuals are up to no good. It's an elaborate Bitcoin ruse they're running! They assert that a certain account is locked with 3.4 bitcoins - that’s about £64,000 - and they promise that these funds will be yours if you part with just 1% of that amount. They’re quite slick and convincing in their tactics. Don’t fall for it!

So there’s these bitcoin fraudsters who ring you up, saying you’ve got some bitcoin in a locked account. They then insist you need to buy bitcoin to unlock it.
