They rang me a couple of times, I answered and just asked who it was before they ended the call straight away.

Got a call this afternoon from some place called 'British Finance' but the bloke greeted me with "good morning," which was a bit odd since it was well into the afternoon here. Sounded like it was coming from an Indian call centre. They were going on about a PPI claim or something I’ve never even made. Definitely a scam if you ask me.

Someone calling herself "Abigail" had a thick Indian accent and wouldn't explain how she got hold of my info. When I asked what company she was from, she just mentioned some vague department, but it was hard to make out. Every time I asked for her name spelling or who she actually was, she sounded irritated and eventually just ended the call on me.

Got calls from this number three times, all I heard was a lot of noise in the background before they just cut off. I’ve blocked it now. Really makes you wonder how they manage to find your private number in the first place.

Got a call from someone saying he was John Smith, sounded Indian, saying I’d won some PPI claim. I kept asking questions cos I didn’t trust it. Said it was a cold call and he suddenly told me to f### off. Definitely block this number!

Got a call from an Indian guy saying I'd won some PPI cash, and he'd be posting documents to prove it. After that, he said he'd put me through to his supervisor who’d ring back in about 10 mins to check my info and give me an "I.D number" to use at the Bank to get the money. Never got that follow-up call from any supervisor!

Someone called saying they had my consent to get my PPI from an insurance policy, said they’d send it over the next day for me to take to the bank. I just kept agreeing without saying much else about the PPI. Then they passed me on to another person, and I just let the call drop without saying anything. Didn’t share any of my personal details at all.
