someone called me and said my internet was about to get disconnected or something. it sounded a bit off, like maybe it was a scam or a robo-call. wasnt sure if i should believe it or not.

Got a robotic voice claiming it was TalkTalk, warning my internet would get cut off today unless I pressed 1 to speak with them or 2 to hang up. Pretty obvious scam - I didn’t press anything and just blocked the number straight away. Total con!

Watch out for a scam! Got an automatic call supposedly from TalkTalk saying my phone line was about to get cut off. Don’t bother answering and just block this number straight away!

I got a call today from 07894286431 and as soon as I answered, some voice told me my internet with talk talk was about to be cut off. I rang talk talk afterwards and they confirmed it was a scam. They also shared a list of their current outgoing numbers so I’d be able to tell if it was legit. I’ve reported the number to their security folks. So just so you know, 07894286431 is definitely not one of Talk Talk’s official numbers.

Got a call earlier and when I picked up, the line went dead straight away. Blocked the number.

Got a dodgy call from 07894286431 today, left a voicemail pretending to be TalkTalk saying my internet service was going to be cut off today. Didn’t bother arguing, just hung up straight away. Funny enough, I’d already got a similar call yesterday from 01823984497, same rubbish story. Both numbers are blocked now. Just watch out, they’re switching numbers all the time so don’t trust any unexpected calls like that.
