I received a phone call from a chap with an American accent, presumably from a call centre. Frankly, I didn’t catch who he purports to represent, but I made it quite clear that I wasn’t keen and requested he remove my details from their database. He had the audacity to insist I was interested, claiming I’d engaged with them online. I repeated my disinterest and urged him to stop contacting me. Instead of taking a hint, he pressed on and even had the nerve to ask if I was having a mental breakdown when I raised my voice and told him to shove off! Ridiculous, really.
