Got a call from someone pretendin’ to be from an energy company askin’ if I had loft insulation. I live in a ground floor flat - no loft at all! Total scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a call from a number starting with +44 followed by what looked like a mobile number, which seemed strange since I’m in the UK. I just didn’t pick up.

Got a call this morning around half ten but didn’t pick up as I was waiting to talk to my GP. I tried ringing back the number, but it kept disconnecting, made me think it was probably a scam.

The gov supposedly offers free loft insulation, at least thats what the call said, but I'm not sure how legit it really is.

I just got a call from someone saying they’re the energy advisor for my area and asking if I own the house. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a lady who said her name was Gabi, asking about some Government Loft Insulation Scheme. Didn’t really get a say in it, as she kept saying they’d ring me back in around 20 mins. When I tried to find out the company name and their registration details, she just ended the call. Pretty sure the number they gave is a premium one and might even be spoofed. Felt a bit off, like one of those scams.

My phone showed it was a telemarketer, so I just ignored it. Checked the number on this site afterwards and I’m really happy I didn’t pick up. Definitely adding it to my block list.

Got a dodgy call earlier. They never bothered to ask my name, but kept saying stuff like "You’re the homeowner, yeah?" How do they expect to know that without any info on me? Sounded like one of those energy saving adviser scams. I told them if they were legit, they wouldn’t be cold calling, especially on a number that’s on the TPS list. Didn’t take too well to that and just hung up straight away. What a load of rubbish!

Had a call from someone named Gaby, said she was from Home Energy Group about my area code. First, she called on my landline, now she's ringing my mobile too. When I mentioned it's a work phone, she just hung up immediately. Needless to say, I've blocked the number now.

I received a call at 11:15 am today, Sunday the 10th of December. I opted not to pick up since I wasn’t familiar with the number. Interestingly, there was no voicemail left either.
