Someone ringed me up knowing my name and number, started with some ‘free offer’ spiel. When I asked to be taken off their list, they just said ‘can’t do that’ and refused. Really frustrating!

Got calls from them 6 times just today! I’ve said twice already I’m not interested, told them I’m with Quantum AI. But every time I block a number, they just ring from another one. The last person I spoke with said his mate had been in touch less than 30 minutes earlier, but then claimed “that’s not my firm, we’ve been off work.” I never even mentioned any company! After that, he started getting rude, demanding “If it’s my firm, what’s the name then?” Pretty dodgy behaviour.

I got a call from someone saying they were from an Energy saving centre. When I looked them up, turns out the company actually closed down on 24th April 2022. She seemed really desperate to end the call, especially after she heard me typing away. Didn’t share any real details with her, but I’ll definitely be turning on all my alarms and cameras just to be safe.

I received a call from this number at around 2 o'clock on a Sunday, inquiring about insulation for my lift. The woman’s tone appeared quite sincere, but when I requested her to clarify a couple of points, it felt like her response was just a rehash of the same phrase. It struck me as potentially being an AI on the line, so I decided to terminate the conversation. I’m uncertain if it’s some sort of dodgy tactic, but I thought it wise to share my experience.
