Got hit by bank fraud, blocked the number straight away, three times now. Honestly, I'm sick of these scammers and con artists, they should just find a proper job. It's high time the authorities did something real to stop them.

This number is a total scam, saying they’re from Tandem bank and leaving a callback number. Somehow they even set up a direct debit with my details, which I’ve since cancelled, but the calls just won’t stop. Seriously, don’t pick up - it’s a scam!

They kept insisting they were BGM, and when I brought up GDPR, they just stuck to being BGM. When I tried to explain I thought they were mishandling my data, they just cut me off.

Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers and seeing these comments just confirms why. Cheers everyone. Really getting fed up with these potential scammers. Right after that, I got another call just seconds later, this time from an 0203 number. I’m blocking both straight away!

Got a call on my mobile from someone with a British accent who used my first name, so it seemed legit at first. I couldn’t catch much of what he was saying, but it soon became clear he was trying to sell me something. Told him to ring back later as I was dealing with a client, and he just cut off. Looked up the number here afterwards and it’s now blocked! (Much appreciated, folks!)

I checked this number out since I’ve had loads of trouble with 0845 and 0843 calls. They just ring once and then hang up. If you try calling back, you get stung with massive call charges. Every time I get hit with these 0845 and 0843 calls, it goes on for about a month with daily rings. Before each wave, I get a text or call from a mobile number making sure my number is still active. Honestly, avoid answering or ringing 0843 or 0845 numbers - it’ll cost you loads.

This mobile number 07893 927791 looks like a total scam, run by Citrus Telecommunications Ltd. Their official address is Fryern House, 125 Winchester Road, Chandlers Ford, Hampshire, SO53 2DR. The director there is Matthew Dominic Langley, and apparently he’s got 5 other director roles registered at Companies House in the UK.

I had the peculiar experience of chatting with a lady sporting a rather strong Irish brogue, and I found it rather difficult to grasp what she was saying. She informed me that I was chosen to receive £20. Now, let's be honest, £20 isn’t really a significant prize, is it? 😂 The way she was so overly friendly and kept prattling on led me to think it was all a bit dodgy, probably a scam of some sort.

Last week, a woman named Emma rang me claiming to be from Delta ICO, some kind of financial firm, wanting to chat about the markets. I wasn’t exactly polite and told her to shove off. She rang back twice more, trying the same spiel. Today, the very same person called again, and I gave her the same blunt reply, then hung up. Can you believe she called again right away and just jumped straight into her pitch all over again? Didn’t stick around long enough to hear what she’s pushing, but I’m guessing it’s probably something like crypto or foreign exchange stuff.

Every time I answer, the line goes silent. It seems this number is associated with a rather inebriated individual who surprisingly knew my name. When I quizzed him about who sent him my way, he just cheerfully replied, “thank you, have a lovely day.” It’s a bit tragic really, thinking that’s the role he was employed for; I can see why he might be relying on the bottle! Not long after that peculiar exchange, I started receiving a wave of spam calls, the first being from 07893 927791. I suspect he was merely verifying if my number was active before unleashing a barrage of calls, effectively adding me to their list of potential targets. I’d better steel myself now for the forthcoming flood of robotic telemarketers! 😓
