Received a call from an Indian call centre purporting to represent Sky, but I’m not even a Sky subscriber!

Just had a chap named Nigel Smith ring me up, sounding like he’s just strolled off a Bollywood set with that Indian accent of his, insisting he was calling from Sky. But, crikey, the racket in the background screamed call centre! No way he was legit. I was quick to send him on his merry way. Honestly, is it just me, or is anyone else getting bombarded? Ten scam calls in the last week alone! I can’t fathom how they’re managing to get hold of my number.
