The phone rang, but the caller didn’t utter a word apart from the name of their firm, insisting they wouldn’t say anything else until they had confirmation of my address. Quite peculiar, wouldn’t you say?

I reckon they might be linked to Atlantis; they keep demanding information (DO NOT SHARE - if it's a genuine debt, they'll contact you in writing). I've had my run-ins with them previously, where they claimed that Untied Utilities indicated I owed for a year’s water bill, despite the fact I wasn't even residing at that property as I had purchased my own home and was paying water there. I've made it clear to them and even contacted Untied Utilities myself, yet the phone calls keep coming! They won't divulge any information or engage in conversation unless I confirm my current address, full name, and date of birth-it’s utterly absurd!

Who on earth was that? We suspect it might be some sort of debt collector. Every time we try to engage with them, they hang up straight away, and it’s infuriating! They never leave a message either, but we can hear a call centre ringing away for ages before it cuts off. We’re assuming this is yet another unregulated debt collector from the UK who somehow got hold of our number, possibly through my former spouse!
