Had a bit of an encounter with a debt collector. Regrettably, I didn't quite catch the name of the company-something along the lines of "credit," if I recall correctly!

Received a call from this number, claiming to be Advantage Credit. They insisted on confirming my name, address, and date of birth before they would discuss an 'account' we supposedly have with them. I wasn’t prepared to hand over any of my personal details or financial information to a company I’ve never even heard of! When I told the caller not to bother me again and that all correspondence should be in writing, he seemed quite compliant, noting my response in his records before abruptly ending the call.

These folks go by the name "Advantage Credit" and have the audacity to assert that we’ve allegedly defaulted on some BT payments. They essentially told us this is our final opportunity to settle the account. The amusing part is that we’ve actually covered all our dues and even possess written proof of it! Quite the cheek, isn’t it? 😂
