It appears this was the Lowell Group, and let me tell you, they certainly don't play by the rules. They resort to all sorts of tactics to get their debts back, even going as far as threatening individuals and skirting around the law. They rang us up, and we put forward a reasonable offer of £1 a month that we could manage. Instead of considering it, they started shouting and making threats about taking our possessions. That’s when we made it clear they’d need to pursue this through the courts first. We made it known that our offer of £1 a month-one they declined-was still very much on the table. And just like that, they hung up the phone! What a palaver!
