So, this morning at about 8:55, my landline started ringing. An automated voice came on, saying there were some dodgy transactions on my bank account - like £199.99 for Amazon and some other amounts. The weird thing is, it didn’t mention my name or my bank’s name at all. I just hung up straight away cos it sounded like one of those scams. Later on, just to be sure I checked my Amazon account out of nervousness - no weird charges, no emails about any purchases either.
