At first, I thought it seemed a bit dodgy, but I reckon it's probably a genuine RBS mobile worker. They didn't want to talk on the phone which raised a flag for me, but the face-to-face financial health check at the branch turned out to be real and was arranged in advance with proper RBS email confirmation. Either way, keep in mind that phone numbers can be faked, so never share your financial info over a call, even if the appointment itself was legit.

Got a call from a private number claiming to be from RBS. They wanted to do some kind of financial health check, but I told them I never do that sort of thing on the phone. After that, they suggested I come down to my local branch, which was kinda creepy since they seemed to know exactly where I bank.

Got a call from someone claiming to be RBS, but when I looked up the number, it came up as a private mobile. Doesn’t seem legit since it’s not a recognised RBS contact. Feels dodgy to me.
