Somebody from a firm named "Invest" rang me regarding an online investment account I supposedly applied for. The bloke, who sounded American, said my application was still pending and that he wanted to help me get it sorted. The call was really pushy and they kept trying to dig out my financial details. When I kept saying I didn’t remember applying, the guy got quite rude and even ended the call when I told him to stop calling me. Definitely felt like one of those typical scam calls to me.
