Got a call from someone pretending to be from a credit card fraud team for a card I don’t even own. They played a recorded message about a suspicious charge of nearly £800 on Amazon. Honestly, the way they rushed me and tried to panic me into calling back seemed totally fishy and probably breaks a bunch of rules from the Financial Conduct Authority right off the bat. Just went ahead and blocked the number.
