A lady with a strange accent rang saying she was from Citizens Advice about some debts I supposedly owed (not true). She asked for me and started saying they could knock off 75% of what I owed!!! When I questioned her, she became quite nasty and started being rude. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away!!!

I didnt catch the name he mentioned but he said he was with CAB and claimed a government department had provided my details, though he wouldnt tell me exactly which one.

Loads of dodgy calls from India, got names like Simon, Kevin, and today some bloke called Harry. Honestly, no idea what Harry was asking for cos I just muted the phone, chuckt it on the table, and let them rack up their own phone charges while I got on with stuff.

Got a call from an Asian gentleman who asked for me by name. When I asked who it was, he suddenly said I’d just been robbed and then quickly hung up. Quite strange!

this bloke said he was coming round to my house to collect stuff coz i owed money, i told him i'd moved away but he insisted i was still here. he said he saw me looking out my window the day before, describing my face with all the usual bits. i told him nah, i've got 3 eyes and only one ear. he threatened to call me every day, well, joke's on him cos ive blocked his number now. good luck mate!

This number's rung me up a few times now but the caller always mumbles, hard to catch what they mean. Today, some bloke with an Indian accent was on, said it was something to do with an investigation. He even knew my name, but as soon as I asked which company he was with, he just hung up. Strange behaviour if you ask me.

Just got a call from them a short while ago. Some Indian lady with really poor English claiming she was from the Citizens Advice Bureau and that my name appeared in a debt collectors' search. I asked what the debt was about and suddenly the phone cut off!!

Some bloke rang me saying he was from some credit fraud team. He said they had info that I owe money on a loan I never even took out. When I told him I didn’t think that was right, he just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke called "John" told me he worked for the FCA and claimed he got my info from some "debt resolution forum." He wouldn’t say which one, didn’t give his company's real name, and refused to give a phone number. To keep it short - since he said he was with the FCA, I reported him to them for looking into it. Clearly, he was fibbing and totally unprepared for me asking questions. Be sneaky, try to get as much info as you can from these dodgy callers, and make sure to report them if they ring you!

Some guy named Mike from the "Credit Department" rang me claiming he was checking my credit report and spotted loans and credit cards I needed to pay off. I asked him what right he had snooping through my credit info, 'cause I don't appreciate people meddling with my financial records. His reply? "Shut up, idiot, and hang up." Why do these people reckon it's okay to be rude after pestering me at work, calling me on about five or six different numbers with no way to stop them?

Got a call from some guy saying he was from an investigations team or something. It was a total cold call, and I ended the call before he could say more.

Got a call from a lady with an accent, saying she was from citizens advice about some unsecured debts I supposedly had! When I told her citizens advice doesn't make cold calls like that, she got really nasty and just ended the call!!! Be very cautious and steer clear of this firm!!!

They keep ringing from loads of different numbers saying they're a government-supported agency. They said they've been given my info about my unpaid debts and want to sort it all out! But when I call them out, they start being rude and then just hang up!
