Got a call from someone claiming I could claim £3000 in PPI compensation if I gave my bank info. I told them I wasn’t even a customer of Lloyds TSB, which they said was the company sending the money. They started making stuff up and then just ended the call. Total scam, watch out!

This number kept ringing me and when I answered, they actually mentioned my last name! They claimed to be from Easy Safe? and said it was about a crash I supposedly had not long ago. Thought it was a genuine mobile so I tried calling it back a couple of times. Didn't feel right tho, so I've blocked them now.

Got a call from this number saying I was owed a PPI refund of £3748 but they'd only pay me £2061 because they’re subtracting a £938 bill and a £749 charge from HMRC. They said I could get the HMRC bit back if I gave them my bank details. Definitely some kind of scam!
