I received a rather peculiar call at precisely 8:03 this afternoon, with the cheerful message of "Merry Christmas!! X." I received a rather peculiar call at a quarter past eight this afternoon. The voice on the line cheerfully exclaimed, "Merry Christmas!" However, they mentioned they had switched phones and not all their contacts had made the move. We answered, but now I’m left feeling quite uneasy and suspect it could be a scam! Has anyone else come across this number - is it known for being dodgy? Furthermore, I'm curious about what actually occurs if you respond to a scam text.
