Got a phone call from someone saying they were from my bank’s security team. They said there were two suspicious transactions on my card - one for £199 at Amazon and another for £899 from some overseas money transfer service. They asked me to press 1 if it was me or 2 to talk to an adviser. It’s clearly a scam though, since my bank always sends me alerts for every transaction. I really worry that some older person who isn’t used to these scams might fall for it.
