I got a call from an automated voice claiming to be from HMRC, telling me to press 1 or else I'd face consequences. When I pressed 1, some bloke with an Indian accent came on asking for my name and postcode. I questioned why he needed the postcode, and he said it was to find my file and help me out. I ended the call soon after. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t given away my full name. Should’ve been more careful really.
