Got a call from 0788862150 claiming to be with EE, but it was 100% a scam. I ended up just hanging up.

Got a call from some bloke who didn’t seem bothered that I’m not on “EE” or whatever their network was. Then they started probing with personal questions so I just ended the call.

Got a call from some dodgy company, obviously not on my EE plan or anything, and they just went on asking all sorts of private stuff. Ended the call straight away.

This person said they were from EE at first. When I told them I don’t use EE, they quickly changed to saying they were from Vodafone instead. I’m not with them either, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was calling from EE’s promo team, offering unlimited calls, texts, and data for £10 a month. I told her I wasn’t comfortable because she was ringing from a mobile, which seemed dodgy. I didn’t take the offer and ended the call.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be from EE’s promo team. I asked her where she got my number from and told her I’m not even an EE customer. She just replied ‘Oh’ and I ended the call straightaway. Be careful with these calls! If you’re not certain, just hang up and ring your provider yourself. There’s so many scammers out there trying it on.

Got a call saying they was from EE, trying to ask about how I pay my bills, but I ended up just putting the phone down. Smells fishy, probably some kind of scam.

Got a call from someone acting like they were from EE, but it was definitely a scam. Just block them straight away.

They claimed to be from EE and when I asked for my account info, they just said they're with the promotions team so couldn’t give any specifics. They tried to sell me a deal with unlimited internet worldwide and loads of minutes and texts for less than I’m paying now. I asked them to send me the details by email but I still haven’t got anything. They kept ringing me loads on the Bank Holiday and even on Easter Sunday, but I just blocked the calls in the end. Still no email from them though.

So I got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, saying they could lower my bill. I asked who the account was under but she said she didn’t have that info handy. Then she asked for my full name, date of birth and address to supposedly sort out a discount. I just ended the call there.
